These products are primarily ideal for food preparation, however are used in a wider variety of applications. Northern Territory, Australia implements a state wide ban on plastic bags!

As of the 1st of September 2011, the Northern Territory is officially the second state in Australia to ban single use non-biodegradable plastic bags across the state. This monumental decision follows South Australia's successful ban implementation in 2009. Tesco, the third largest grocery chain store in the world, has recently been in the news because of its decisions regarding single use plastic bags. Until recently, Tesco has supplied its customers with an oxo-biodegradable shopping bag claiming that they will break down in 20-36 months.
