Two More Councils in WA look into a Plastic Bag Ban

The City of Fremantle in Australia is taking a massive step to introduce a plastic bag ban after the State Government of WA rejected a bill earlier in the year. It now looks like two more Perth Councils are looking to do the same demonstrating that the decision by the WA Government may not accurately reflect what the state wants. Time for the State Government of WA (and the rest of Australia) to step up and follow the lead of South Australia, the ACT and Northern Territory, whom have already implemented state wide plastic bag bans!
