Because We Care sponsor the Defence Lake Attack Event 2009.
Defence Lake Attack is a premier Defence charity event within the Melbourne community and provides an opportunity for Defence and corporate bodies to showcase a sense of community spirit in a healthy environment.
Because We Care sponsorship of the event contributed to the success of the Defence Lake Attack which resulted in raising $212,000. This enabled the Defence Lake Attack Committee to transfer $53 000 to four supported charities – Kidsafe Victoria, Melbourne Legacy, Redkite and The Compassionate Friends.
